IRH Conference

IRH Conference on Innovations in Interpersonal Relationships and Health Research a Great Success!

The Innovations in Interpersonal Relationships and Health Research: Advancing the Integration of Interdisciplinary Approaches to Dyadic Behavior Change conference, held on June 24, 2025, at the University of Zurich, was a resounding success.

This one-day event brought together a vibrant mix of leading academics and promising early-career researchers for a day of inspiring discussions and networking.

The conference, organized by Urte Scholz (University of Zurich), Alexander Rothman (University of Minnesota), and Jeffry Simpson (University of Minnesota) focused on the critical role of interpersonal dynamics in health and well-being. Researchers from diverse backgrounds explored how relationships with romantic partners, friends, and family members can drive positive behavior change.

The program was packed with insightful presentations, including engaging flashlight talks and a comprehensive poster session. We were honored to feature four distinguished keynote speakers who shared their latest research and perspectives. To recognize the outstanding contributions of our presenters, awards were given for the best flashlight presentation and the best poster.

The day concluded with an Apéro riche, offering a perfect setting for attendees to continue the conversation and build new collaborations.

We are grateful to all who participated and contributed to making this event a memorable and impactful experience. For a closer look at the presentations and to access conference materials, please visit our conference website and our OSF page.
